Carl Palmer, the only living member of rock band Emerson, Lake & Palmer, will be at Berkshire Humane Society, 214 Barker Road in Pittsfield, to talk about his art and career for a Fundraiser on Monday, September 14th from 7:00 to 9:00 pm. Palmer will show his new art collections, Rhythm of Light and My Legends, with pieces available for purchase. Partial proceeds of art purchases will benefit nonprofit Berkshire Humane Society. Doors open for the private showing at 6:00 pm, with tours of the shelter available from 6:30 to 7:00. Basket raffles will be available with the winner drawn at 8:30. Palmer’s artwork starts at $150 and he will pose for photos with those who purchase a piece.
The event is made possible by Lisa Littlewolf in association with Pilato Entertainment. Palmer, also a founding member of the band Asia, has released several signature collections of fine art created completely from rhythm in association with Los Angeles art company Scene Four. The artworks to be shown at the benefit are a series of signed and numbered art prints on canvas and high-end paper featuring visual images constructed from drum performance.
