FALL OPEN HOUSE & 2018 SUBARU OUTBACK RAFFLE
Saturday, October 28th is BHS’s Fall Open House and 5th Annual Subaru Raffle
PITTSFIELD, October 22, 2017 – This coming Saturday, October 28, from noon to 4:00 p.m., the Berkshire Humane Society (BHS) will host its annual Fall Open House and car drawing. At 2:00 p.m., the winning ticket will be drawn for a 2018 Subaru Outback. Haddad Subaru will be in attendance with a number of vehicles for visitors to check out. Live 95.9 will broadcast the drawing. People may also tune into the shelter’s Facebook page for live coverage of the raffle drawing.
In addition to free food, adoption fees are discounted to $95 or less, with adoption fees for all senior animals (7+ years) being waived.
This year marks the 5th annual Subaru Car Raffle, and the vehicle is a 2018 Subaru Outback (package value approximated over $34,000). Tickets may be purchased up until 2:00 p.m. at the main shelter, located at 214 Barker Rd., Pittsfield. Buy 1 ticket for $40 or 3 for $100. The winner does not need to be present to win. The raffle is limited to 2,100 tickets – to date approximately 1,500 tickets have been sold. Between now and Friday, tickets may be purchased at the following locations: BHS (Pittsfield), Haddad Subaru (Pittsfield), Bartlett’s Orchard (Pittsfield), Purradise (Gt. Barrington), Catwalk Boutique (Gt. Barrington), Chez Pet (Lenox), Bark n’ Cat (North Adams), and Greylock Animal Hospital (North Adams).
