Thank you to all who donated — you met the challenge, raising $12,000 for homeless animals, turning it into $17,000 with the match from our generous donor!!!
As a supporter of Berkshire Humane Society, you believe in the power of kindness and today you can leverage that power! A generous donor challenged us to raise $10,000 this Giving Tuesday. If we make that mark, they’ll kick in an additional $5,000! Are you up to the challenge?
On Tuesday, December 3rd, we’re looking to raise $15,000 to buy three large portable kennels for our Wellness Clinic. Currently, we if we spay or neuter a large dog at the clinic, we must use one of the small examination rooms or a too-cozy kennel in a common area with cats for pre-and post-operative holding. Three new portable kennels would help us and our patients in many ways. They would:·
– Provide a calmer environment, with dogs and cats separated
– Enable us spay and neuter more large dogs in a day
– Keep a small exam room open for all patients
– Help us prevent unwanted litters sooner
With the help of 2024 Giving Tuesday donors, YOU can make it happen! Every little bit helps for big dogs and all the animals in our care!
Last year you helped us buy an ultrasound machine for our Wellness Clinic, helping us make quick, preliminary diagnoses.
We work tirelessly to find loving, permanent homes for the animals in our care and to offer quality veterinary care to the families who come to our low-cost Wellness Clinic. With your gift, we can say “yes” to giving care for all companion animals of Berkshire County. Thank you!
