Pet Pantry
BHS is committed to taking whatever steps are necessary to help individuals keep their companion animals with them. When economic issues threaten a pet owner’s ability to continue caring for his or her companion animal, BHS tries to help by offering a supply of food from our pet food bank. The pet food pantry is stocked with food that is donated by members of the community.
The Berkshire Humane Society has been a community pet-food bank resource for over 10 years. We are coordinating a county wide effort with social agencies, local busisnesses and individuals to collect and distribute pet food.
