2013 Session Dates

Companions: 3rd Grade  July 15 – July 19
Farmers: 4th Grade:  July 22 – July 26 FULL
Workers: 5th Grade:  July 29 – August 2 FULL
Ecologists: 6th Grade:  August 5 – August 9
Zoologists: 7th and 8th Grade:  August 12 – August 16  FULL

Sessions are based upon the grade the student is entering in the Fall of 2013. Camp Humane will run five weeks this summer for students in grades 3 through 8 from 9am to 3pm. While Camp Humane will continue to provide campers with ample time and activities with the shelter animals at Berkshire Humane Society, each session will also include a focus on a particular category of animals.

TUITION

Tuition is $260 per camper if registered by June 7th
Tuition is $250 per camper if more than 1 sibling is registered by June 7th
An additional $40 fee if registered June 8th-21st

  • Presentations by Animal Professionals
  • Transportation for Field Trips
  • Arts & Craft Projects

 

PAYMENT

Tuition payment can be made with a credit card online or over the phone or by check at the shelter. Each session has only 20 spots available. Tuition must be paid in full by June 21, or the space is forfeited. Please note that a majority of the tuition goes to the care of the homeless animals rescued by Berkshire Humane Society. Berkshire Humane Society is a private, nonprofit organization. Receipts will be available on the first day of camp. All camp session confirmations will be sent by EMAIL once the payment is made in full.

 

SCHOLARSHIPS

A limited number of scholarships or reduced tuition fees are available for those children in need. Scholarship forms are available at the shelter and must be submitted by June 14th for consideration. Please call for more information and session availability. (413) 447-7878
