Why Humane Education?

At Berkshire Humane Society, we believe that it’s an important vehicle to learn not only about animals but also about ourselves. That’s why we offer several programs for both children and adults who love animals!

Please note that we are evaluating our Education Program and will not be offering Camp Humane summer camp in 2023. Stay tuned for educational programming in the fall. We still offer  shelter tours and visits to local schools and groups. Underlying each program is the simple message of compassion, respect, and responsibility for all animals and people in and beyond our community.
