Directions from the East or South

  • Take the Mass. Pike to Exit 2, Lee.
  • Follow Route 20 North to Pittsfield.
  • Turn left to continue on Rte. 20 West (at West Housatonic St.).
  • At the second traffic light take a left onto Barker Road
  • The Berkshire Humane Society Shelter is about 1/2 mile ahead on your right.


Directions from the West

  • Take Route 90 East to Exit 11 East (Route 20 Nassau).
  • Continue on Route 20 into Pittsfield.
  • At the traffic light turn right onto Barker Road
  • The Berkshire Humane Society Shelter is about 1/2 mile ahead on your right.


Directions from the North

  • Take either of routes 9, 8, or 7 into Pittsfield.
  • At Park Square continue south to Route 20 W (or West Housatonic Street).
  • At the second traffic light take a left onto Barker Road
  • The Berkshire Humane Society Shelter is ahead about 1/2 mile on your right.
