Once again, Crissey Farm will dish up delish slices of lasagna to benefit the homeless cats at Purradise in Great Barrington. On April 5th, please join us for meat and veggie lasagna, salad, bread and a cash bar, as well as select and 50/50 raffles. It’s a family friendly event in a beautiful venue for a wonderful cause!
Crissey Farm is located at 426 Stockbridge Rd., Great Barrington. Dinner will be served from 5:30 p.m. to 8:00 p.m with an early bird special from 5:00 p.m. to 5:30 p.m. Tickets will be available at the door: $12 Adults, $6 Children, $10 Early Bird. Join us for this Coffee Hour Speaking Series featuring Jennifer Leahey, owner of Nature Maters, Inc. and Leahey Farm in Lee. Jennifer will talk about her work as a wildlife rehabilitator and educator, and will have animals on hand to observe. This is a free event. Coffee Hour Speaking Series are held in the Obedience Room downstairs at the back of the shelter (214 Barker Rd., Pittsfield).
Visit the shelter from 5p.m. to 7p.m. on Thursday, April 19th to view new, local art hung in Berkshire Humane Society’s art gallery. This is a free event. A portion of art sales will benefit the homeless animals. Light refreshments will be served and there will be a raffle for two paintings. The art gallery is curated by the Guild of Berkshire Artists. BHS is located at 214 Barker Rd. in Pittsfield and open every Thursday evening from 5p.m to 8p.m.
