SEYMOUR and CINNAMON

small animal photo Arrival Date: October 2nd

Age: 3.5 years & 4-5 years

Sex: Neutered Male/Spayed Female

Breed: Gray Rex Rabbit/Agouti Dwarf Mix Rabbit

Meet Seymour and Cinnamon! This quiet pair of bunnies are in search of a low-key (preferably adult only) home. Seymour is the distinguished lovable mush while Cinnamon is the dignified, lovable gal. They are quite content snuggling or grooming each other and must be adopted together since they are a bonded pair. They would do best in a quiet environment. If you think Seymour and Cinnamon sound like the bunnies for you stop by and meet them today.

TOMMY

small animal photo Arrival Date: February 15th

Age: ~2 years

Sex: Male

Breed: Cinnamon Colored Mixed Breed Rabbit (medium size)

Isn't Tommy the cutest little bunny you ever did see? Tommy is VERY sweet but is also extremely shy and has a very high flight response. He took a long time to adjust to shelter life and is just now blossoming into a more outgoing and inquisitive little guy! He will still need a quiet home where he will not be startled or stressed so he can live a comfortable and happy life. Homes with young children or high activity would not suit this shy guy. If you have the right home environment for this handsome bun then stop by and meet him today!

We have been inundated with rabbits. Rabbits make wonderful pets for the right people. They are extremely intelligent and social and like the companionship of other animals, other buns as well as their humans. Rabbits can be litter trained, and like to play with toys. They require daily exercise as well as cleaning and maintenance as well as regular grooming. They tend to make better pets for adults versus children, and if adopting for a child please be aware that you will most likely become the main "caregiver". If you feel that you can take on these requirements, please ask the staff about the varied assortment of rabbits available!

If you have other questions regarding the current small animals, please call the shelter at 413-447-7878 Ext 24.

To adopt a pet, please visit us at 214 Barker Road in Pittsfield, MA.

Stay awhile in our comfortable new shelter, talk with our experienced adoption counselors, and spend some time getting to know that special pet.

And remember: as long as the animals seen here are healthy, are of good temperament, and there is space available to house them, there are no limits on the time that they can spend with us here at the shelter.

Also remember that all these animals belong in a home and not in a shelter.

Please consider adopting a shelter pet today!
